January Happenings

Finally got some snow around the first part of January, though it only lasted a couple days before it melted.

Took Luke to see Mission Impossible 4, and saw this poster for Luke to stick his head in

Cash spilled an entire bag of rice on the floor then proceeded to “help” Jess clean it up.

Took the kids to the Trampoline Park in Roy, Jack and Cash loved jumping into the foam blocks, Luke went over with the big kids and played a little dodge ball.

January birthday dinner out with the fam, it was Mom’s birthday, Joeys the day before and Jess’ the week before. After dinner we went out bowling at Fat Cats, Jack was waiting for us to pay for our lane when a man walked by and handed him an armful of tickets from the arcade. It totaled over 150 tickets, the look on Jack’s face was priceless.

I know we are a little behind on things around here. Early in December we were shopping at Lee’s Market and Santa came so Jack went and asked him for some Tape Worms (once again, Santa had no idea what he was talking about) Jack’s pre-school had a performance at the Ogden Amphitheater near Christmas Village. Loved hearing all the 5 year olds singing/yelling their Christmas songs.

Christmas Eve the kiddos got new PJ’s and we read a couple Christmas stories before heading off to bed.

Luke has been taking Violin lessons from Weber State since September. On the 5th he had a concert with all the other students, he loved seeing the older kids playing songs that he recognized like the Batman theme or Pirates of the Caribbean Theme. It made him realize what he could be playing with a little more practice.

For our fall cleanup we had the boys take the remaining pumpkins and smash them for the compost pile. Luke really got into it with his hammer and stake, making sure each piece was smashed to perfection!

Our adventure with leaf collecting! Jess gathered leaves from various neighbors (and not so neighbor) so he could add it to the garden and till it in before winter. The kids loved playing in all the leaves since we only have one tree in our yard so far.

Jack’s 5th Birthday

We celebrated Jack’s 5th birthday on the 12th, we had a few friends over, Jack Deem, Josie Slater, Kara Keyes, Everett Ozmun, and Mason (not sure last name).

We played musical chairs, pin the tail on the donkey, bean bag toss, duck duck goose, a fishing game and a piñata.

Jack chose to have a Toy Story 3 themed birthday this year

He chose roller skates as his big gift this year, they convert to roller blades after he has learned to stay up.

Luke was a good sport, he played games on my phone most of the time and stayed out of the way.

Halloween

Halloween day, Jess decided we should carve some pumpkins. We had more than we would ever use.

The boys got into the large knives but did not like pulling out the “guts”

We go trick or treating in the neighborhood behind us, it’s a 55+ community so everyone is home and the trick or treating is done with a lot sooner. The older people just loved it when Cash would come to their door.

Cash loved trick or treating, he only hit 1/4 of the houses that the older boys hit but he was content to just eat his sucker.

We had our ward Halloween party the week before, the kids loved seeing all the other kids’ costumes.

We had to clean out the garage so that we could fit both cars in again before winter set in.

We went to the Treehouse’s Enchanted Woods again this year, again, the kids love seeing all the other costumes.

Okay, so it’s been a while…

Not much to report, Cash is growing like a weed, I think he’ll be the tallest of the boys.

Our last visit to Nona’s, she is so proud of her flower garden

Waffles are a staple in our house.

The boys sold pumpkins this fall, we had around 30 of them to sell, Luke made almost $50 selling them. I didn’t get a picture of Luke but here is Jack trying to sell pumpkins one afternoon while Luke was at school (not much traffic at this time of day)

Luke started violin lessons, he will have a concert on December 5th!

Cash and his Watermelon

Cash is growing everyday and with that comes his wonderful personality. I had to throw these two pictures in to show.

Cash loves to be outside, yesterday while we were checking out the garden, Cash started to pull on this tiny little watermelon. Jess went over and helped him take it off the vine and this kid was in heaven. He carried his little watermelon all over the yard, taking bites every now and then (after he had forgotten that he didn’t like the taste the last time he had taken a bite).

We “harvested” a few things from the garden last week, I’ve been watching two of the watermelons and one had rotted while still on the vine so I thought surely this one should be ready so I picked it. To my dismay, it was not ready to eat yet, I’m guessing if I had given it just a week longer I could have had a yummy watermelon to eat. Sad!

Jess pulled a few Pumpkins out to cure, there are a bunch in the garden/pumpkin patch but not quite ready yet.

We have been enjoying our garden all summer long, I can’t wait till next year when we do it again.

Guys’ Trip to Alaska

Jess and John took a trip to Alaska at the end of August together for some fishing and male bonding.

Their first stop was Seattle due to flight availability into Ketchikan.

They stopped at the space needle to get me a shot glass

Jack had his "back to school" night for pre-school a couple weeks ago. While we were waiting for Miss Lori to start, I told Jack that all the kids in the room were going to be in his class, Jack got so excited then asked the girl in front of him "Will you be my friend forever?" Banana Bread

I had Luke make some banana bread today, thought he had helped me in the kitchen enough to be able to handle it. When I went to check on his progress, I noticed the dough didn't look quite right so I went over the ingredients with him only to find out that he replaced the flour with powdered sugar; he thought it would taste better that way. Lessons learned I guess :)

Day at the Lake

We went up to Pineview yesterday for a little outing. It’s mom and dad’s anniversary on the 16th so we had to celebrate a little.

Jess kept trying to tip the tube, but it’s built in a way that it’s almost impossible to do. I say almost because it actually happened to Jake and Alisha at the end of the afternoon when they were hit by some big waves.

Jack liked the slow rides, he doesn’t like the big bumps.

This is usually my place when we go boating, babies instantly fall asleep when the boat starts to move.

Jess wanted to be a dare devil by himself but without the extra weight he couldn’t get the tube to tip.

Our Garden

This is our garden, we have been over run by pumpkins and we are loving it (since most of the other plants didn’t come up). We also have corn, watermelon, tomato, cantaloupe and one anaheim pepper.

This is the biggest pumpkin we have so far, we are hoping that we’ll have some good fruit by October, Luke wants to sell the pumpkins.

It’s good to have Luke home from his mini vacation to Phoenix. He went to visit Grandma and Grandpa V for a week after their visit here. His flight was delayed, I got a text from Sara Sr. after I got through security here in SLC that Luke’s flight in PHX had not left yet. I had quite a bit of time to kill since I was a bit early anyways so I just checked out all the airport shops in the terminal and watched people. Jack and Cash were both happy to see big brother, to celebrate we made Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Swirl Fudgy Cookies while listening to some old 45 records (the boys’ idea)

24th of July Festivities

While John and Sara were visiting, we got a babysitter and went to the Ogden Pioneer Days Rodeo (yes we live in Utah)

On Monday the 25th, Jess was in the parade along side President Monson (see the sign on the side of his car? it now hangs on the inside of our garage door)

I let Luke use my camera during the parade, he took over 500 pictures!

We also went to the Tree House one afternoon, Luke and I played chess

Then both the boys were selected to be in a Partici-Play were the audience becomes the actors and the Tree House employee narrates. I can’t remember the name of this play, but Luke was the coyote and Jack was the snake.

July Fun Part 2

Sara and John came to visit for a week over the 24th of July holiday. One day we went to the Dino Park

Sara Sr. won this mountain bike in a raffle this summer and gave it to Jess. He has been loving it, the other day he took the kids in the bike trailer to Kurt’s drive in for some Ice Cream, it’s about 4 miles from our house. We walked there once this summer and it was much easier to take the bike. Next weekend he’s going out on a trail ride with a friend down the street.

Cash has shown us that he has a little temper lately. I gave him a handful of Marshmallow Matey’s one morning but picked out the Marshmallows so he would be left with only the semi-sugary anchors. He got so mad at me when he saw me doing this, he threw his head on his tray and screamed at me.

The next day we went down to the state fair park for the Family Fun Day that was in conjunction with the Day’s of ‘47 activities.

.After all the carnival games, Jess and Luke tried out this “ride” from the Sheriff’s office. It simulates a car crash at 5 miles per hour.

4th of July

The only pictures I managed to take were of us watching the Huntsville parade.

Leading the parade each year is the cavalry with this cannon shooting confetti.

Cash was a little restless, but we got one good shot from him

The all the kids just stood in the street during the entire parade, waiting for candy.

The rest of the day we hung out at my mom’s house. Jess was home sleeping since he worked the grave shift the whole weekend. Dad and Joey took a motorcycle road trip and didn’t get home until that afternoon. Mom, Jessie and Tim went and hauled a load of hay during the day, while I watched all the kiddos. Later that afternoon we headed over to the Huntsville park and watched the hypnotist then hung out until the firework show at 10:00.

Holiday Weekend

Last Friday, we had the family over for pizza and fireworks. The kids pulled out the new Slip n’ Slide that I got from Walmart.com for $5 (the in store price was $25!!)

Then they played on the trampoline while they dried off

Cash enjoyed the company, he had only taken a 1 hour nap the entire day, he had his two top front teeth come in at the exact same time, so it had been a hard week on everyone.

Then after dinner they pulled out the water balloons and got wet again. Cash was right in the middle of everything, he loved getting wet with the big boys.

When it was dusk, we started the fire work show in the front yard, Luke lit every one. He’s a little pyro and the 4th of July is his only outlet.

Pool Time

My cousin Cami and her family was in town this week so we all went to the pool on Monday. Cash crashed about 1 and slept for quite a while. (Last time is was Jack who slept the fun away)

Jack has become more brave around the water, he spent most of the day jumping into the pool (and splashing everyone around him)

Luke did pretty much the same thing, he spent his day at the diving boards and in the showers warming up. It wasn’t until we left that we saw one of his buddies from school, what a bummer.

Summer Tennis

Saturday Hike

We decided to try a hike last Saturday. There is a trail that goes to a water fall in the mountains just east of where we live. The water levels are really high right now so we new the waterfall would be something cool to see.

We went at about 3pm which was probably the hottest time of the day to go. We took Luke and Cash with us. Jack went with Grandma Davies. Cash hitched a ride on jess' back. The trail was actually pretty steep as we got further up the trail. Luke was a trooper and kept up with us the whole time.

There were little bridges that criss crossed over the stream coming down the mountain. Luke dunked his head in the stream to get cool.

When we got to the waterfall the force of the water was so powerful that it was windy next to the waterfall and there was mist in the air. It was actually a little cold near the waterfall.

North Shore Aquatic

We met up with Jamie and Ashley and their kiddos for a day at the pool yesterday. I only got a couple shots of Cash and Benson (Jamie’s boy).

I hardly see Luke when we go, he just comes to check in every once and a while. Mr. Independent!

Slip N’ Slide

I set up the Slip N Slide for the boys this afternoon and Cash crawled out of the house and headed straight for it. He had a ball!

Fathers Day Weekend

We went up to help my dad put in some fence posts on Saturday.

Jess was the designated helper this weekend, dad told him to jump in the tractor and go (Jess had never even sat in there before)

The boys were a big help too, here they are with their chain seatbelt.

After a hard days work, we built a fire pit in the back yard and roasted marshmallows. I found these giant mallows at Wal-Mart, it took a whole graham cracker to cover these things when we made our smores.

Worlds Largest Swimming Lesson

We were part of the Worlds Largest Swimming Lesson today. There were over 30,000 kids signed up in 20 different countries on six continents. It was for the Guinness World Record.

Luke was the only boy in his class until some late arrivals came to even things out. This boy is such a flirt.

Jack had a hard time remembering to stay on the wall with the rest of the class.

Luke loved it, he’s a fish in disguise.

Last weekend we went down to Lehi to visit Grandma for her birthday. We had a nice afternoon together, we visited out on the lawn then went out to lunch at Olive Garden then went up to the cemetery to see Grandpa’s grave.

Luke and Jack have started tennis lessons, I think we found a sport for Luke.

Jess didn’t want to to post this because it looks like we are always at the dinosaur park, but we are! We have a season pass so we will be here all summer.

We got a deal on a season pass to the Dinosaur Park earlier this year. This is Cash and Emily, they were born within the same week so it’s fun to watch them grow together.

We took advantage of the nice weather today and went with the Keyes family.

Cash’s Birthday Bash

We celebrated Cash’s birthday on Sunday, I made cupcakes for this event. Jess requested “Gourmet Cupcakes” but I think I need a little more practice.

I made cupcakes in a cone, they turned out alright but tasted better with ice cream and hard shell chocolate on top.

This is only some of the cupcakes I made, I tried tree different kinds of cake batter (Martha Stewart) and wanted to have at least one come out yummy.

Cash had two cupcakes and shared with Diesel. It’s always good having a dog around when you have a toddler eating.

Cash got some new church clothes from G&G Voorhees for his birthday this year, this is one sharp lookin’ 1 year old. On another note, I will never have to buy formula again! I have switched him over to whole milk and he seems to be doing great.

Is It Summer Yet?

The boys were enjoying a nice summer-like day last week. We bought some water shooters at the dollar store (one didn’t last the day)

Field Trip / Field Day

Luke had a field trip to the Dinosaur Park and he wanted me to go with him. I had worked all night but had the next two days off, so I decided to make it a marathon and stay up to go with him. We took the bus to a trail about five miles from the Park and walked.

At the Park we had a class about dinosaurs. I think I slept through the whole thing. The kids then went through the park and played.

Luke had Field Day right after the Dinosaur park.

Luke gets really into it.

The object of one game was for a person who was "Goo" to run and touch other people who then became Goo also and created a chain of Goo. When Luke was Goo he found the pretty girl in the class first and then ran around holding her hand. Sly dog.

Luke is always trying to get an edge on everyone else. Some call this cheating, but he thinks of it as being more resourceful. See Luke trying to get as close to the bucket as possible. They were suppose to stand on the line.

May Happenings

We finally got a trampoline, Luke said it is one of two things on his want list. 1. Trampoline, 2. Sling Shot. I don’t think he will ever be able to cross #2 off the list.

Luke had a puppet show in his class earlier this week. This was The Three Little Pigs, Luke was the big bad wolf. They made their own talking puppets in class with the help of some parent helpers.

My fabulous hubby came home with flowers just because.

We watched The Karate Kid tonight (the one with Jackie Chan) and we had a silly photo shoot afterwards. What great boys I have!

Jodi’s Wedding

We went down to St. George last weekend for Jodi’s wedding. We stayed in Mesquite at the Virgin River hotel, Luke stayed home with grandma and grandpa so that he could go to a birthday party that Friday.

It was such great weather, Jack was able to go out and play in the pool a couple of times; he is in need of some swimming lessons though!

The wedding was beautiful, Jodi was gorgeous (as always), and the Jolley family was very welcoming.

Jack got along great with the Jolley nephews.

April Fun

Jess and I took the boys to the Tree House Museum the other day, Cash is getting old enough to be able to enjoy it too.

Later in the week we went to visit mom at work for lunch, Jack always gets a doughnut after his grilled cheese sandwich.

I had to post the pictures of our latest arts and crafts project that we got from Family Fun, check it out. I couldn’t pick just one picture of Jack wearing his dinosaur feet; what a ham!

Easter Day Egg Hunt

After Easter dinner, we took the boys outside for a big egg hunt. Jack gathered as many eggs as he could find.

Luke on the other hand, passed many eggs. He had his sights on the golden egg!

Jack ended up with 38 eggs, a close second to Kaden who had 43

Luke found the golden egg, after a little help from the adults. It was so funny to watch all the boys walk right past the prize, each one came so close (many times), it was almost too hard to watch.

Of course there were some other little prizes in the eggs, each of the boys came away with at least a dollar.

Luke also found the “bonus” egg, I was trying to help the other boys get it since Luke got the golden egg but he’s a good little hunter when he has his mind set on what he wants.

Easter Weekend

We went to our annual neighborhood egg hunt (mostly just our ward). It wasn’t as cold as last year, but the wind was blowing and it was too chilly to be in the shade.

April Randomness

Luke had his 2nd grade program last week. He is on the top row in the middle wearing a green striped polo. It was about special friends, they all wrote a letter to someone that was a special friend (excluding parents). Luke chose his Grandpa Voorhees. Some of the kids had their friend come while they read the letter to them between songs.

I did a little photo shoot in the back yard with the kids wearing their new Sunday clothes.

We walked/biked to the burger and shake joint in North Ogden, it was 2 miles one way.

It was a fun little adventure and we got rewarded with ice cream and fries.

The boys had their semi-annual check up earlier this month and Jack ended up needing some cavities filled so that was our fun yesterday. Here he has the gas on while watching Tangled on the ceiling and wearing headphones to hear the movie. We never had these cool things when going to the dentist growing up.

Cash enjoyed his first tomato soup last night, not that it is a milestone or anything but this picture was too cute not to share.

Phoenix Part 2

Of course we had to see a couple Diamondbacks games while we were in town (really the reason we went)

There were fireworks the first night after the game (we won!) and they let us onto the field to watch. Jess was so excited, he grabbed some grass as a keepsake.

The second night it was just us, we were going to take Jack but he wanted to stay home with the babysitter again.

We met Clark, Tana and the boys at the game too and afterward they gave us a tour of their new condo which is across the street from the ballpark. Tana was great, she and Clark flew down to Phoenix the same day that we were leaving, so she took Cash on the plane and met Grandma Sara at the airport so that we didn’t have to take him in the car. It was great to only have the two older kids on the way down.

It was quiet in the house this morning so I ventured upstairs to see what Jack was up to. He had pulled out all these stuffed animals from a box in the baby’s room and lined them up on his bed (he was supposed to be getting dressed for the day, notice the missing shirt). Starting from the left: Little Foot, Sara, Boots, Jack, Baby Monkey, Curious George, and “my friend”. These were his friends for the day. He fits right in.

Last week we went to the Air Force Museum with some other mom's from the ward. I cannot believe we haven't been there yet, admission was free and Jack loved it!

Luke worked hard during his first month in Cub Scouts and got his Bobcat rank. I am the Cub Scout chair so I got to present it to Luke.

We went sledding over the weekend on a mountain near mom's house. Its had snowed the day before so there was fresh snow to sled on.

Just a little update. My grandma Allene past away at the beginning of the month. I found out for the first time that her name was actually Amy Allene. I was lucky to have taken the boys to visit a few days before. Her pace-maker was failing and she was too old to undergo a surgery.

I need to take more pictures! Cash is getting so big, he’s no longer a little baby and will soon be an active toddler. The past 9 months has flown by.

Last weekend we went to visit my other grandma down in American Fork, we usually tag along with my mom when she goes to get her hair done then usually end up eating at Olive Garden for lunch.

Tuesday morning I was on the computer looking up Luke’s school lunch menu when I heard “cannonball” from the other room, followed by someone crying. Jack had jumped from the windowsill (only 2 feet high) onto the LuvSac and fell backward hitting his head on the windowsill. At first I looked and thought just a bump on the head so I just held him for a bit, then when I pulled away the second time I saw blood on my sleeve. The whole morning sped up from there, I hollered to Luke to get ready for school, I had to get myself the other two dressed. By this time it’s about 8:30am, so I call my dad to see if an Urgent care can take care of a wound like this and he said to just come up and he could take care of it. Long story short, Dad stapled Jack’s wound for us and I get to remove them next Tuesday. Boys will be boys, right?

So my drivers license expired in December and we can't renew by mail in Utah anymore. I've been putting it off because I was afraid that I wouldn't pass the vision test in my right eye (it's about 20/50). I finally made some time to go get it taken care of last week, still worried that I would be rejected and sent away to get some glasses, but the man didn't even do a vision test. I showed up, they took a new picture, I paid them my $25 and was sent on my way with a temporary until the real one comes in the mail. All that worry for nothing.

Luke asked if he could have some soda that was in the fridge. I suspected that he had already had some earlier with out asking so I asked him if he had already had some. Luke told me "no" but a parent knows a lie when they see it. I told Luke that I didn't think he was telling the truth and I was going to dust the soda bottle for finger prints. Luke got a concerned look on his face and said, "My finger prints might be on the bottle because I picked it up to look at it". I told Luke that I was going to do a DNA analysis on the opening of the bottle to see if he had put his mouth on the bottle. Luke says, "OK, I had a little". What am I going to do when they are old enough to know that I'm full of it.

Luke was Baptized on January 8th, 2011

We had a great turnout, we had: Bob and Dixie, Brett and Jamie and the kids, Bryce and Laurie, Tim, John and Sara, Joey and Ashley, Jessie and Steve, Mary and Alan. It was a stake baptism so there were six other kids getting baptized that night. Afterwards we all went to dinner at Golden Coral (Luke’s pick).

We brought in the new year last night at my Uncle Bob’s house, he had some seafood and steaks to chow on. After dinner the adults played Sequence, me and Bob beat everyone both games! Snow Fun

The kids have been stuck in the house since Christmas and we finally got some snow so I took the boys up to my parents house on Wednesday so the could play in it. Dad tried to get the snowmobile going but it wouldn’t start. He spent most of the time getting his tractors going so he could pull my minivan out of the snow, I had gotten stuck in their driveway.

Since the snowmobile didn’t work out, Dad pulled the kids around with the four-wheeler instead.

Christmas 2010

We had a great Christmas! John and Sara flew up from Phoenix for the weekend so they could spend the holiday with us.

Sara helped the kids make sugar cookies on Christmas eve after they took the kids to see Tangled.

We started a tradition last year (the same as a lot of other people), the kids get new PJ’s on Christmas Eve.

I completely forgot to buy Cash a new pair of PJ’s, luckily Sara was there to save me since she had bought him PJ’s for Christmas.

I heard Jack wake up at 5:00am and sneak downstairs, I caught him at the top of the stairs and he told me that the stocking were full and had fell on the floor and that there was a trampoline and that he had jumped on the trampoline. He was so excited, but I made him go back to his room until 7, which was a huge mistake since he went in and woke up Luke, they played in there for two hours before I finally let them come out and check out what Santa had brought them We had to wait for Jess to get home from work on Christmas morning since he worked the grave shift the night before. While we waited we let the kids check out their stockings so they didn’t get too anxious.

Jack got an indoor trampoline, this was a last minute gift that I ordered from Amazon on the 21st; luckily it arrived on the 23rd.

Luke’s big gift was the Wii, this was really a family gift but it was what he wanted most of all.

The whole morning the kids would randomly yell “This is the best Christmas ever!!!”

It was nice it have John and Sara here, it’s been a while since we have spent Christmas with them.

Gifts from Grandpa Phillips

Jess and I decided not to give each other any gifts this year and then take the money shopping the day after Christmas and hit the sales. I don’t know why I trusted Jess to stick to the bargain, he went out and bought me diamond earrings. The ones I have been wearing are from my grandmother when I was 16 and are quite small so he thought I needed an upgrade. I got him some socks.

I love my family and this was truly the best Christmas ever!

Luke’s 8th Birthday!

We celebrated Luke’s 8th birthday last night at Chuck E Cheese. We invited a few friends to come along. Afterwards we headed back to our house for cake and gifts. Luke wanted a “How to Train Your Dragon” cake and I wanted an ice cream cake so we compromised.

It always makes you feel good as a parent when your kid exclaims “This is the best birthday ever!”. Jess picked out this spy watch for him, it takes videos and pictures, records voices and much more.

I had to throw in the picture of Jack with his arms around Luke, we captured it better on video, but Jack is telling Luke happy birthday in the most sincere voice. It was very sweet.

Here’s the birthday group, starting on the left is Mason, Ethan, Aidan, Jack and Luke. Aidan and Ethan are Luke’s friends from school and Mason is closer to Jacks age.

I can’t believe we have an 8 year old boy; Luke has really grown this last year not just in height but also in maturity. He is such a great helper around the house, he is doing very well in school, and he’s not as spastic. Luke is a great kid and I wouldn’t trade him for anyone else. Love you buddy!

Christmas Lights

On Friday night, we went to see the light display out at Willard Bay. After we drove through the lights, we got to take a horse drawn wagon ride through the lights. Then we went and saw Santa, Luke told him he wanted a cell phone (???) and Jack wanted a remote control bug. I was surprised by what they asked for,they’ve never asked about these items (not that Luke would get his own phone).

What’s the best thing you can get after a chilly horse ride? That’s right, it’s ice cream! We went to a little ice cream parlor off of Washington and 40th for a little treat, Jess and I shared a banana split.

I took Cash and Jack to the pediatrician today for their check ups. Jack knew that he would have to get some shots today. He was so brave, when the nurse came in he walked over to the table and hopped up, he started to get upset when she came over with the needles and band aids but that was expected. I told him he could get two donuts afterwards, but we saw this instead. This is the biggest donut I have ever seen, it had Jack's name on it for sure.

Last night we had our annual Davies Family Christmas party, everyone was there except for Aunt Vicky and those who live out of state. We did the same thing as years before, we had a feast, followed by a visit from Santa (Dad), then the adults played a game with white elephant gifts ($10 and under).

Jess had to work on Thanksgiving this year so we went to Marie Calenders for a turkey lunch before he had to leave. It was nice to be together, even if it was just that morning.

Later that afternoon I took the kids over to Uncle Bob’s for their turkey feast, it was really good. Bob always fries his turkey, and it’s the best.

Jess won the "Don Thomas Security Office of the Year" award today. The award is named for the officer that was shot and killed a few years ago at the church library downtown. Jess' department is part of nation wide security organization that nominates one employee from each company for this award each year. Way to go Jess, all your hard work is starting to pay off, we are so proud of you!
